Sandakphu and Phalut Trek

This 7-day trek begins with a pickup from NJP/Bagdogra and a 3.5-hour drive to Maneybhanjyang, where an introduction and briefing session will be held. The trek starts on Day 2 with a 12 km ascent to Tumling (10,000 ft), offering mesmerizing landscapes and a stunning Kanchenjunga view. On Day 3, the journey continues through Singalila National Park along the Indo-Nepal border, covering 13 km to Kalapokhari (10,453 ft), home to a sacred pond. Day 4 involves a 6 km trek to Sandakphu (11,930 ft), the highest point in West Bengal, where one can witness four of the world’s highest peaks, followed by a sunset walk to Aahal. On Day 5, a challenging yet scenic 21 km trek leads to Phalut (11,811 ft), a tri-junction of Nepal, Sikkim, and West Bengal, with basic accommodations. Day 6 sees a descent to Gorkhey (7,700 ft), a peaceful village surrounded by pine forests and the Gorkhey River, taking 7 hours (15 km). The final trek on Day 7 covers 14 km to Sirikhola (6,900 ft), concluding by 2 PM, followed by a 6-hour drive back to NJP/Bagdogra the next day.
